Lauren Frohne is a seasoned multimedia journalist with extensive experience in video production and storytelling. Currently serving as the Lead Video Journalist at The Seattle Times since November 2014, Lauren leads the award-winning video team, guiding staff photojournalists in cinematography and story development while directing impactful news and feature videos. Prior to this role, Lauren produced and co-directed the documentary "Spilling Over" and worked as a Multimedia Producer at Open Society Foundations, focusing on critical global social issues. With a background in freelance journalism, Lauren has contributed to major outlets including The Boston Globe and The New York Times. Educational qualifications include a BA in English and an MA in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with participation in prestigious leadership programs.
