Bryan Bowden has a diverse work experience in various educational roles. Bryan is currently serving as the Director of Youth Development at the Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club. Previously, they worked at The Second City as an Instructor, where they developed and conducted stand-up comedy classes for high school and middle school students. Bryan also organized a teachers workshop for Chicago Public Schools on incorporating stand-up comedy in the classroom. Before that, Bryan worked as a Substitute Teacher at Chicago Public Schools from August 2008 to December 2016. Prior to their substitute role, they were a Teacher at Chicago Public Schools, managing a large 8th-grade class and achieving outstanding results in reading and math, surpassing the school's ISAT quota.
Bryan Bowden obtained a Masters of Education degree in Elementary education from DePaul University, spanning from 2005 to 2007.
