Samara Stern

Improv Teacher, Grades 2-12 at The Second City

Samara Stern has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Samara'smost recent position as an Improv Teacher at The Second City started in September 2017 and continues to the present. Samara has also worked as a Supply & Support Teacher at The York School from October 2020 to June 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Supply Teacher at Voice Integrative School from November 2018 to June 2020. From June 2011 to June 2019, they worked as a Supply Teacher at The Leo Baeck Day School. Samara also gained experience as a Law Clerk at Howard J. Stern Law Office from June 2007 to July 2014. Furthermore, they worked as a Supply Teacher at Bialik Hebrew Day School from September 2011 to June 2012. In addition, Samara completed teaching practicums at Seneca Hill Public School and McKee Public School in 2011 and 2010, respectively.

Samara Stern attended the University of Toronto from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Theatre and Drama Studies. During the same period, they also studied at Sheridan College and obtained a Diploma in Theatre/Theater. In 2010, Samara enrolled at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, completing their studies in 2011 and receiving a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree. Samara'sfield of study during this time was focused on the Primary/Junior Division.
