Gina Hadley has a long history of professional experience. Gina began their career in 1994 as a Worldwide Creative Coordinator for Ogilvy & Mather. In 1999, they became the Director of Business Development for Ads.com, where they were the second employee hired. In 2005, they co-founded Urban Monkeys, an 8,000 square facility catering to young children and their families in the Greater Seattle area. After securing start-up investment, they ran brand development, marketing, programming, and retail operations. In 2007, they started their own consulting business, Gina Hadley Consulting, where they provided consulting and brand strategy for luxury and lifestyle brands. Finally, in 2013, they co-founded The Second Shift with Jenny Galluzzo. The Second Shift is a platform that connects carefully selected women representing the most experienced freelance talent available within the marketing and finance vertical to companies that understand the value of the gig economy.

Gina Hadley completed their high school education at Convent of the Sacred Heart, 91st Street from 1983 to 1987. Gina then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Connecticut College between 1987 and 1991. Gina concluded their educational journey by obtaining a Master's Degree in Shakespearean Studies from New York University from 1991 to 1994.
