The Seeing Eye
Artemisia Leo has extensive experience in animal care, currently serving as a Kennel Assistant at The Seeing Eye since March 2021. Prior experience includes an internship at The Raptor Trust, where responsibilities involved caring for orphaned and injured birds, and a role as a Stable Worker at Lord Stirling Stables. Additionally, Artemisia held dual internships at the Philadelphia Zoo focused on animal care and environmental education. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from Rutgers University and a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Animal Biosciences from the University of Delaware, complemented by an Associate’s degree in General Science from Raritan Valley Community College and a high school diploma from Somerset County Vocational Technical High School.
