Ashley Jimenez

Ashley Jimenez has a strong background in the arts and marketing industry. Ashley is currently serving as the Associate Vice President for Advancement and Marketing Manager at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens since 2022. Previously, from 2019 to 2022, they worked as the Client Services and Marketing Director at SRQ Media Group. Prior to that, they held the role of Membership Coordinator at St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce from 2018 to 2019. Before relocating to Florida, they worked as an Independent Curator and Project Manager at community-oriented venues in the Burlington, Vermont area from 2016 to 2018. From 2013 to 2018, they served as the Gallery Manager + Assistant Curator at Burlington City Arts. Ashley also worked as the Department Manager at Drexel University from 2012 to 2013. Ashley started their career as the Gallery Director at JAGR: Projects from 2009 to 2012 and gained experience through a museum internship at The State Hermitage Museum in 2007.

Ashley Jimenez started their education at Virginia Tech from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a BA in Art and Art History and a BA in History. Following that, they attended Northwestern University from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Certificate in Museum Studies.
