Navdeep Sokhey, PhD, currently serves as a Conversation Design Specialist at The Select Group, having previously held roles as a Content Strategist & Lead UX Researcher for the City of Austin and a Senior Market Researcher at Vertex Inc. Extensive experience includes transforming digital interactions for communities, driving innovation in tax compliance technology through UX and market research strategies, and providing culturally relevant translations as a Localization Specialist. Navdeep Sokhey is also a former Mixed Methods Researcher and Arabic Professor at Virginia Tech, where research focused on speech patterns and machine learning applications. Other positions include managing scholarship programs and conference organization, with academic credentials that encompass a Ph.D. in Arabic Linguistics and multiple fellowships and intensive language studies.
