Teresa Knizner

Teresa Knizner is an experienced designer and writer with a diverse professional background spanning multiple roles since 1994. Currently, Teresa serves as a Designer at The Shade Store, specializing in custom window coverings since January 2016. Teresa has also been freelancing as a writer, completing projects such as "The Littlest Volunteer," "Firefly," and "Wings-the Story." Previous positions include Store Manager and Assistant Manager at Calico, and Event Manager for Bike MS at the National MS Society, where strategic leadership supported annual revenues of approximately $350,000. As Director of Grant Management and Community Outreach at the Volunteer Center of Los Angeles, Teresa supervised grant management and team collaboration. Prior experience includes General Manager at Fine Drapery and owning Staunton Fabric Center and Interiors by Terry, where innovative business strategies were employed for success. Teresa holds a degree from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
