Deepak Shankar

Deepak Shankar has extensive work experience in the engineering and construction industry. Deepak is currently working as the Vice President - Operations and Module Projects at The Shaw Group since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Project Director at the same company from August 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining The Shaw Group, Deepak worked at McDermott International Inc. from 1989 to 2021. Deepak served in various roles, including Sr. Project Manager, Project Manager, Operations Engineering Manager, Division Production Engineer / Construction Manager, Construction Manager, Senior Interface and Constructability Engineer, Sr. Proposals Engineer, Senior Production / Operations Engineer, and Production Engineer. Their responsibilities included overseeing and managing large-scale projects, fabrication operations, production engineering, and coordination with various departments.

Deepak also has experience as a Junior Engineer at Sesa Goa Limited from August 1988 to March 1989.

Deepak Shankar completed their undergraduate education from 1984 to 1988 at the Institute of Shipbuilding Technology, where they obtained a degree in Shipbuilding Engineering with a specialization in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Additionally, Deepak attended Dhempe College, although the duration and specific degree or field of study are unknown.
