Darren Foden

Darren Foden has extensive work experience in the hospitality and catering industry. Darren currently serves as the Academy Director of Events, Hospitality, and Food Technologies at The Sheffield College, a role they assumed in August 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Academy for Hospitality, Travel, and Aviation at The Sheffield College starting from February 2020. Before joining The Sheffield College, Darren worked as a Project Lead for Hospitality and Catering at RNN Group UK from October 2017 to February 2020. Darren also served as an Assistant Head at Dearne Valley College from December 2014 to February 2020 and as a Restaurant Lecturer at Yorkshire Coast College in September to December 2014. From 2005 to 2014, Darren worked at Barnsley College as a Program Manager for hospitality. Darren'searliest recorded work experience is with Orient Gold Ltd, where they served as an Area Manager for Hospitality and Catering from February 2004 to December 2005.

From 1990 to 1994, Darren Foden attended Leeds Beckett University, where they studied Hospitality Administration/Management.
