John Risser

John Risser has been in the creative industry for over 20 years. John began their career in 1996 as a Freelance Writer for FKQ Advertising. John then moved on to become a Sr. Writer for Matthews/Mark in 1999. In 2002, they joined NYCA as a Sr. Writer and in 2017 they became Creative Director at The Shipyard. In addition, they have had a long-standing Freelance career since 2003, taking on roles such as Writer, CD, and whatnot.

John Risser attended St. Cloud State University from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication. John also attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 1988 to 1990, but did not receive a degree.
