Pamela Newkirk, PhD, has a distinguished career as an author, educator, and board member. Currently, Newkirk serves as an author at Bold Type Books, with notable works including "Diversity, Inc.: The Failed Promise of a Billion-Dollar Business" and "Spectacle: The Astonishing Life of Ota Benga" at HarperCollins Publishers. As a board member at The Shubert Organization and a professor at New York University since 1993, Newkirk has contributed significantly to academia, including a role as Director of Undergraduate Studies at the NYU Arthur Carter Journalism Institute from 2011 to 2018.
