Mihail S. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles.
Mihail began their career as a Microscopy and Micro-analysis Laboratory Technician at Politehnica University of Bucharest from May 2003 to August 2005.
In 2006, they joined Redline Communications as a Software Junior Engineer for a brief period from May 2006 to October 2006.
Later that year, Mihail joined Infineon Technologies, where they held various positions. From October 2006 to April 2011, they served as a Staff Analog Design Engineer with responsibilities including technical project leadership for an integrated pressure sensor and a wireless transmitter. Mihail also gained experience in IC Design and validation, working on projects involving Switched-Capacitor and Continuous time Sigma-Delta ADCs, EEPROMs, BandGaps, Regulators, and more.
In 2012, they joined AMD as a Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer until June 2014. Mihail then transitioned to the role of MTS Analog Design Engineer from July 2014 to September 2014.
Mihail's next move was to Synopsys Inc in October 2014, where they worked as a Mixed Signal Design Engineer, Staff until July 2019.
Finally, Mihail joined The Six Semiconductor in August 2019, initially as a Principal Digital Design Engineer. Mihail later advanced to the role of Fellow Design Engineer, which they currently hold as of June 2022.
Throughout their career, Mihail has accumulated a broad range of experiences in both digital and analog design engineering roles, showcasing their technical expertise and leadership abilities.
Mihail S. completed their education by earning a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering with a focus on Photonics from the University of Toronto. Mihail pursued this degree from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2007, they attended the Politechnic University of Bucharest. During their time there, they earned a Dipl. Eng. degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
