Vishal Patel

Vishal Patel has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Vishal co-founded Sollasa, a brand of lower alcohol spirits that enhance dining experiences. Prior to that, Vishal worked as an Investment Director at Distill Ventures, where they led new investments and supported existing portfolio companies in the spirits and non-alcoholic drinks industry. Vishal also served as a Strategic Adviser for The Smart Container Company and Pluto. Vishal gained experience as an Investment Associate at Anthemis Group and as a Board Observer at Meniga. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Private Equity Associate at Sidley Austin LLP, handling a variety of private equity, M&A, and corporate matters. Vishal also worked as an M&A Legal Counsel for SABMiller, where they were involved in major deals. Vishal began their professional journey as a Trainee Solicitor at Hogan Lovells. In their earlier years, Vishal served as the Events Director of Itchy Feet Bristol at Edge Hill Entertainment.

Vishal Patel started their education at Dauntsey's School from 2002 to 2009, where they pursued their secondary education. In 2009, they enrolled at the University of Bristol, where they completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Law with Study in Continental Europe from 2009 to 2013. In 2011 to 2012, Vishal participated in the Erasmus Scheme at Université de Bordeaux, furthering their knowledge in the field of Law. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at BPP Law School from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained an Accelerated LPC degree specializing in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law.
