Gavin Rankin

Gavin Rankin has over 36 years of work experience. Gavin started their career in the British Army as a Scots Guards platoon commander. After that, they worked at Price Waterhouse as a Chartered Accountant. Gavin then joined Schroders where they headed the Schroders Investment Bank in the Czech and Slovak Republics for Corporate Finance and privatization advisory. Gavin also worked in private equity at EPIC for a year before becoming the Head of Research and Chief Investment Officer at Troika Dialog, a leading Russian Investment Bank. Gavin later moved on to Breakingviews, where they served as the Head of Business Development. Currently, they are the Head of Financial Services Business Development EMEA at The Smart Cube, a global research and analytics company, where they have been for over 16 years.

Gavin Rankin pursued their LLB degree in Law from the University of Buckingham from 1982 to 1984. Gavin later obtained their ACA qualification as a Chartered Accountant.
