Peter Warren

Peter Warren is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) management as well as business improvement. Currently serving as the Head of SHEQ & Business Improvement at SMS Group since January 2018, Peter previously held the position of SHEQ & Compliance Director at Burgess Marine Ltd from June 2009 to December 2017. In this role, Peter was appointed to the board following a major acquisition and successfully developed an integrated management system, achieving several ISO certifications. Earlier career experience includes roles as SHEQ Manager and Labour & Resources Manager at Burgess Rail Ltd, where responsibilities spanned from managing compliance and operational controls to overseeing labor supply contracts for major clients. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from Solent University.
