Desiree van der Veer

Desiree van der Veer serves as General Counsel at The Social Hub (B Corp™) since November 2021, previously holding the position of Senior Legal Counsel at The Student Hotel from November 2021 to October 2022. Prior legal experience includes working as an Advocaat/Lawyer at Van Doorne from January 2013 to November 2021 and as a Legal Assistant at the same firm for nearly a year. Desiree began a legal career as an intern at Van Benthem en Keulen in 2011. Academic credentials include a Master of Laws (LLM) in Recht en Onderneming and an Excellent Master Tracé from Utrecht University, alongside a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the same institution. Early education was completed at Oude Hoven in Gorinchem, finishing VWO in 2006.
