Halel Peleg

Halel Peleg is an experienced professional in ecological tourism and environmental management. Currently serving as the Ecological Tourism Project Manager at The Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel since June 2022, Halel previously held the position of Building Permits Project Manager at the Ministry of Environmental Protection from September 2019 to December 2020, where responsibilities included project support and information systems management. Halel's background includes roles as the Director of International Affairs and International Affairs Coordinator at the Ben-Gurion University Student Union from June 2016 to July 2018, focusing on partnership development and event coordination. Additionally, Halel served as a Weapons Instructor in the Israel Defense Forces from October 2010 to October 2012. Halel holds a Master's degree in Natural Resources Management and Environmental Policy from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Environmental Development with a minor in Anthropology-Sociology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
