Lynn Kowal

Lynn Kowal is a board member at The Society of Composers & Lyricists and has over 23 years of experience as a composer, songwriter, and SCL board member. Lynn is also a Primetime Emmy Awards music consultant and has been with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for 20 years. Lynn is also the Chief Operating Officer of The Society of Composers & Lyricists and has been with the organization for 2 years and 11 months. In addition to their work with The Society of Composers & Lyricists, Lynn is also a Songwriter Advisor at Musicians Institute and has been with the organization for 6 years. Lynn got their start in the music industry as an intern at ASCAP, where they worked for 5 months before becoming an assistant to the president at Peermusic.

Lynn Kowal has a Master of Music from The Johns Hopkins University in Electronic and Computer Music Composition and a Bachelor of Music from Virginia Commonwealth University in Synthesizer Performance.
