Hisham Moussa

Hisham Moussa has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Hisham currently holds the position of Chief Investment Officer at The Sovereign Fund of Egypt, where they have been since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Healthcare and Pharma Subfund and as a Board Member for the Healthcare and Pharma Fund within the same organization.

Before joining The Sovereign Fund of Egypt, Hisham Moussa worked as a Board Member at Afriglobal Medicare starting from 2019. Hisham also served as the Managing Partner at Alpha Square Partners from 2018 to 2021 and as a Board Member at AL TAYSEER HEALTHCARE GROUP from 2018 to 2021.

Furthermore, Hisham Moussa held the position of Partner at Zoser Capital Partners from 2020 to 2021. Hisham gained valuable experience during their tenure at The Abraaj Group, where they served as the Managing Director of Healthcare from 2015 to 2017, Director of Performance Acceleration Group - MENA from 2012 to 2014, Vice President of the Investment Team from 2009 to 2012, and Assistant Vice President of the Investment Team from 2007 to 2009.

In 2003, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
