Kyle Winn

Kyle Winn is a Structural Design Engineer at The Spaceship Company, where responsibilities include designing composite and metallic parts for SpaceShipTwo and conducting initial sizing and analysis. Previously, as a Manufacturing Engineer at the same company, Kyle provided automation support for composite manufacturing and developed designs using CATIA V5, focusing on efficiency and waste reduction. Prior experience includes work as a Composites Engineer at UTC Aerospace Systems, where Kyle applied CATIA V5 and FiberSIM to enhance manufacturability for major aircraft programs, as well as served as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, Riverside, processing nanopowders for optical material applications. Kyle holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside.
