Matthew Egan

Matthew Egan has over 10 years of work experience in software development and architecture. Matthew currently serves as a Senior Software Architect at The St. James, where they have been working since 2018. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Web Developer at the same company from 2018 to 2020.

Before joining The St. James, Matthew worked at Pioneering Evolution, LLC from 2010 to 2018. Matthew held the position of Senior Web Application Developer and led the development of custom-designed web applications for managing U.S. Navy data and processes. Matthew'sresponsibilities included requirements gathering, database design, architectural design, development with PHP and MySQL, testing, and deployment.

Earlier in their career, Matthew worked at Computer Software, Inc from 2008 to 2010 as a Web Application Developer. In this role, they analyzed external report requests, collaborated with clients to evaluate custom reporting requirements, and developed tailored reports using PHP, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Ajax, and TCPDF. Matthew also handled hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance for on-site clients.

Matthew Egan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University, where they attended from 2004 to 2008.
