Courtney John holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Sport Management from Concordia University-St. Paul, which was obtained in 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sport Management from Bemidji State University in 2010. In 2008, Courtney John also earned a Bachelor of Arts (M.A.) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Concordia University-St. Paul. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Certified Youth Sports Administrator from the National Alliance For Youth Sports (obtained in October 2021), a Certified Park and Recreation Professional from the National Recreation and Park Association (obtained in September 2018), and holds certifications in Adult & Infant CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Red Cross (obtained in 2016), and Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Producer from the MN Department of Commerce (obtained in 2012).
