Drew Nelson

Drew Nelson is currently the Deputy CIO at the City of Saint Paul, leading daily operations and work planning for the department. Drew also has experience as an Interim CIO and Digital Services Manager. Prior to this, Drew worked as an Agile Business Analyst and Product Owner at the Independent Natural Food Retailers Association, a Business Intelligence Analyst at SpartanNash, a Business Analyst Consultant at Digineer, an Intelligence Analyst at the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner, and a Supervisor at the Washington Department of Ecology. Drew also served in the US Navy as an Intelligence and Analytics Manager. Drew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
