Eirene Garnsey currently serves as Group Company Secretary at The Star Entertainment Group, pending regulatory approvals, following an extensive tenure at Scentre Group where roles included Deputy General Counsel, Governance & Secretariat and General Manager, Compliance & Secretariat among others. Prior experience includes positions as Corporate Solicitor at both Westfield and Clayton Utz, as well as serving as Tipstaff/Legal Researcher in the Chambers of Justice R.P. Austin at the Supreme Court of NSW. Eirene holds a Master of Laws (LLM) and a BA/LLB from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.
