Shaniqua Mayers

Shaniqua Mayers currently serves as the Communication and Content Manager at Terra Elysium and as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager at The Starfish Canada. Prior experience includes roles at Toronto Metropolitan University, where Shaniqua worked as a Data Story Teller, Career Mentoring Assistant, Research Assistant, and Session Assistant for the National Forum on Anti-Asian Racism, achieving a 30% increase in participant engagement. Additional positions include Audio Transcription at Rev.com and serving as a Health and Safety Representative/Beauty Advisor at Cloré Beauty Supply. Shaniqua is pursuing an Indigenous Knowledges & Experiences Certificate at Toronto Metropolitan University and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Language and Intercultural Relations from the same institution.
