Tatiana Hernández has a diverse work experience in the field of oncology. Tatiana started their career as a Physician Resident at the MIR Oncología Médica program, where they gained significant experience in the treatment of breast cancer. After completing their residency, they worked as a Consultant at Fundación Jimenez Diaz and Collado Villalba General Hospitals, focusing on patients with breast and ovarian cancer. Tatiana also worked as a Consultant at the Hereditary Cancer Unit at the Oncohealth Institute. In 2016, they joined the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute as a Clinical Research Fellow in the Early Phase Clinical Trials Unit. Tatiana then went on to work at The START Center for Cancer Care, first as a Consultant Medical Oncologist in the Early Phase Clinical Trials Unit, and later as the Director of the Clinical Research Phase 1 Trials Unit START Barcelona HM Nou Delfos. Tatiana has a strong background in clinical research and expertise in the treatment of breast cancer.
Tatiana Hernández obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in the field of Medicine from Universidad de Carabobo, where they studied from 2002 to 2008. Tatiana later pursued further specialization in Medical Oncology and obtained a degree as an Especialista en Oncologia Medica from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, studying from 2011 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained various certifications, including Advanced Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation from the American Heart Association in May 2019, Methods in Clinical Cancer Research Workshop from ESMO - European Society for Medical Oncology in June 2017, and an IELTS Academic - C2 Overall 8.5 certification from IELTS Official in August 2016.
