Heather Kobbe

Heather Kobbe, MHA, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at The START Center for Cancer Research, beginning in January 2024. Previously, Kobbe held the position of Senior Director of Human Resources at KEDPLASMA from May 2022 to August 2023, overseeing HR functions for a global workforce of approximately 2500 employees within a company specializing in plasma collection for therapeutic use. Prior to KEDPLASMA, Kobbe was a Senior Director of Human Resources at UT Health San Antonio from October 2010 to May 2022, managing areas such as talent acquisition and employee relations. Kobbe's earlier experience includes roles such as Human Resources Director at Northwest College and Human Resources Manager at Red Hawk Industries, where strategic HR initiatives and employee management were pivotal. Kobbe earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Colorado State University Global.
