Matthew McMichael

Matthew McMichael is a Chief Credit Officer at The State Bank since March 2015. Prior to that, Matthew worked as a Vice President - Loan Workout Officer at FirstMerit Bank from July 1996 to November 2014. With extensive experience in restructuring problem loans, Matthew has held various roles in the Commercial Lending Group since 1996. Matthew holds a BBA in Accounting from Baker College Business and Corporate Services and served in the United States Army from 1989 to 1992.
