Sam Ellefson

Sam Ellefson is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles and written communication. Currently serving as the Editor of State Press Magazine at The State Press, Sam oversees the publication's coverage and manages the development of print issues, including a full Spanish issue. Previous positions include Managing Editor at State Press Magazine, where responsibilities included editing long-form pieces and collaborating with multimedia teams. Sam has also contributed as a Reporter for the Howard Center for Investigative Journalism, a Writing Tutor at Arizona State University, and a Staff Writer for Wednesday Zine. Educational achievements include a Master of Mass Communication and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Film and Media Studies and Journalism, supplemented by a minor in Political Science from Arizona State University.
