Ken Runyon

Ken Runyon has a diverse range of work experience starting from 1993. Ken has held roles such as Chief Information Security Officer at The State University of New York, Information Management Division Chief at 1st Theater Sustainment Command, and Data Network Branch Chief at 311th Theater Signal Command. Ken has also worked as a Lead Application Engineer at SilverStream Software/Novell, a Senior Consultant at Sybase and Noblestar, a Consultant at Ellsworth Associates, and a Programmer/Analyst at the National Rifle Association. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in information security, identity management, common enterprise architecture, and power builder programming.

Ken Runyon attended the US Army School of Information Technology from 2004 to 2005, studying Information Systems Management. Ken then pursued a Bachelor's and Master's degree in International Relations at the University at Albany, SUNY, from 1986 to 1991. Prior to that, they studied Computer Science/Engineering at the University of South Carolina from 1978 to 1981. Ken Runyon also holds certifications in CCSP, CISSP, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Security+, Net+, A+ from institutions such as ISC2 and Comp TIA.
