Nayden Villorente is a staff writer at The Statesman and also contributes to the Stony Brook University Media Group Halftime Report. Additionally, they are a Resident Assistant at Stony Brook University and a Member of The National Society of Leadership and Success. Previous roles include being a Sales Associate at DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse and working as a Host/Busser/Cashier at Eastern Pavillion. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at Stony Brook University, having graduated from La Salle Academy.
