Sumaira Ahmed

Sumaira Ahmed has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. In 2009, they worked as a Patient Coordinator at Sleek MedSpa. From 2010 to 2015, they held roles such as Aesthetics Director and Director of Network Development & LASIK Operations at Boston Laser - Boston Eye Group. In 2015, they served as a Public Relations Manager at GenArts, Inc. Sumaira then joined Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2016, initially as a Marketing & Business Development Manager before becoming the Director of Strategic Marketing & Business Development in 2019. In 2020, they joined Medable, Inc as a PAC Member and also served as a Patient Advocate & Ambassador at PhRMA. Currently, they are working at Mass General Brigham in the Business Development, Global Advisory role. In addition to their professional accomplishments, Sumaira Ahmed founded The Sumaira Foundation in 2014, where they serve as the Founder/Executive Director.

Sumaira Ahmed completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations/Image Management from Boston University in 2010. In 2017, they obtained a Certificate in Nonprofit Management & Leadership from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. The certificate was focused on the field of Organizational Leadership.
