Mohamed Bacchus has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Mohamed started their career at IDB Communications in 1985, where they worked as a Supervisor at the Data Technical Center and later as an Earth Station Manager. In 1992, they joined IDB Systems as a Project Manager and eventually became the Director of Sales for the Middle East and Central Asia. Mohamed then moved on to Datapath, Inc in 2004, where they initially served as the Director of Sales before transitioning into the role of Sales Engineer. During their time at Datapath, Inc, they provided pre-sales engineering support, assisted in exceeding sales quotas, and prepared bids in response to RFPs and RFIs. In 2007, Mohamed joined GD Satcom Technologies as a Sales Engineer and later became a Senior Sales Account Manager, focusing on developing sales strategies, evaluating opportunities, and providing market intelligence. Most recently, they worked at The Switch as a Contractor and Field Service Engineer, responsible for the installation, upgrades, and maintenance of CPE for broadcast traffic via fiber, as well as on-site test and turnup for special events.

Mohamed Bacchus received their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from The City College of New York, which they attended from 1981 to 1985. Additionally, in May 2007, they obtained a certification in Capture Management, although the institution from which they obtained it has not been specified.
