Vinnie Nguyen has diverse work experience in the media and broadcasting industry. Vinnie started their career as a Production Intern at NBC in 2006, where they provided assistance on set and maintained a friendly environment for guests and the audience. In 2007, they worked as a Production Intern at Sharing is Caring Productions, LLC, conducting research, assisting with field shoots, and supporting editors in post-production tasks.
In the same year, Vinnie joined Wall Street Webcasting, Inc as a Conference Coordinator. Vinnie cold-called companies to offer streaming services for presentations to investors at financial conferences and traveled around the country to oversee crews. Vinnie managed day-to-day broadcast operations at a busy studio and transmission facility, overseeing staff, budget, expenses, client services, engineering projects, and long-term contract obligations. Vinnie also played a role in solutions deployment for high-profile clients, including HBO, NBA, Vice Media, and carried out Master Control Room duties.
In February 2022, Vinnie took on the role of Lead Technician - Digital Media Services at The Switch. Vinnie joined the department to help grow streaming services and managed AWS technical services for live events. Their clients included Nintendo, Amazon, NFL, Adobe, Recording Academy, and Academy of Motion Pictures.
