Amy Humenay is the Vice President of Purchasing & Logistics at The SYGMA Network, with responsibility for Inventory Management, Account Management, Logistics, Pricing, and Purchasing Administration. In 1996, Amy began her foodservice career with SYGMA as a buyer and held various roles in Purchasing. After spending several years as a Senior Buyer, Amy moved to the customer-facing role of Account Manager for several national chain restaurants in 2002. In 2005, Amy joined the Inventory Management team as a Senior Manager, then in 2012 Amy was promoted to Director of Inventory Management with responsibility for all buying teams. In 2013, Amy welcomed the challenge of Senior Director of Purchasing, where she had oversight for all Inventory Management and Account Management teams. Amy was promoted to Vice President in 2015, and in August of 2019 her role expanded to include Logistics.
