Janet Makepeace

Janet is a coaching expert with a passion for helping diverse teams and individuals who want to challenge their thinking and actions to gain better results. She has coached leaders, budding talent and teams in a variety of sectors including healthcare, technology, higher education, foundations, management consulting, and angel funding.

Prior to her career as a coach, Janet served in strategic commercial and operational leadership roles in the United States, Asia, and Europe. Her functional experience spans Sales, Training, Marketing, and General Management. Janet understands the corporate environment having worked in several multinational companies, including ManorCare, Sanofi-Aventis, Roche, and AstraZeneca. Over her career, Janet has led companies of 100+ employees inclusive of cross-functional leadership teams. Her broad business experience building and leading diverse, high performing organizations provide a robust platform for coaching individuals and teams.

Janet currently serves as the President of Montgomery Corridor Chapter for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, is a member of Pipeline Angels, and formerly served as Board Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Copenhagen. Janet earned a Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership. She holds a BS in Interpersonal Communication from Ohio University and MS in Social Work from The University of Cincinnati and is an International Coach Federation Associate Certified Coach.
