Peter Hetherington

Peter Hetherington has extensive experience in HR technology and recruitment, currently serving as the Head of Implementation at Udder since October 2020, where leadership focuses on optimizing and automating HR technology for clients. As Chair of Judges for The Forum for In-house Recruitment Managers (The FIRM) since January 2014, Peter selects and leads a panel assessing industry awards. Previously, Peter held roles such as Head of People Data & Systems at Genomics England, where implementation of ATS SmartRecruiters and strategic workforce planning were key, and Head of Volunteering at Frontline Live during the Covid-19 pandemic. Earlier career highlights include founding a recruitment function at Link Asset Services, serving as Associate Director at RSM UK, and leading talent sourcing at XL Catlin. With a degree in Internet Information Systems from the University of Sunderland, Peter combines strong educational foundations with a robust professional trajectory.
