Secretariat Director Of Global Partnership For Zero Leprosy At The Task Force For Global Health at The Task Force for Global Health, Inc.

Bill Gallo has extensive experience in public health and disease prevention. Bill is currently serving as the Secretariat Director of Global Partnership for Zero Leprosy at The Task Force for Global Health since October 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including Deputy Director of the Office of Insular Affairs and Senior Advisor for Pacific Islands. Bill also served as Deputy Branch Chief for Global Disease Detection and Emergency Response and Deputy Director for CDC Kenya. Additionally, they worked as an Associate Director for Policy, Planning, and Legislation in the Immunization Services Division. Gallo has also served as a WHO consultant and Public Health Advisor in the areas of STD/HIV and immunization.

Bill Gallo earned a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Hawai'i - Shidler College of Business, where they attended from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Rollins College, which they completed between 1979 and 1984.
