Erik Gross

Erik Gross is a Co-Founder at The Tech Academy. Erik has over 8 years of experience in the field of software development.

Erik started their career as an Applications Programmer at IBM, where they worked on custom MVC, WPF, and WCF application development to support the core business. Erik also made modifications to legacy VB.NET applications and designed and implemented IBM-branded application security compliance auditing solutions.

In 2012, Erik co-founded The Tech Academy, a software development school, where they served as Senior .NET Developer. Erik was responsible for web application development and API architecture design.

Erik left The Tech Academy in July 2020 to pursue other opportunities.

Erik Gross began their educational career by completing the U.S. Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program. Erik then went on to study Nuclear Power Theory and Operations/Electronics Theory and Operation at a college or university. After completing their schooling, Erik Gross became a Nuclear Reactor Operator.

They work with Levi Blodgett - Academy Director, Anne Clingon - VP for Registration, and Emily Stanley - CFO. Erik Gross reports to Adam Smith, President.
