David Hafner

David Hafner has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. David began their career at Standard Life as a Sales Support Executive from May 2003 to September 2004. Following this, they joined Elements Group as an Operations Manager from September 2004 to May 2010 and later as a Financial Controller from May 2010 to May 2012. In 2012, David joined The Telegraph where they held various positions including Management Accountant from May 2012 to March 2015, Commercial Finance Manager from April 2015 to July 2016, Head of Commercial Finance from July 2016 to March 2020, and finally Head of FP&A from March 2020 to April 2023. Currently, David is serving as the Commercial Finance Director at The Telegraph starting from January 2023.

David Hafner obtained their BA in Business & Marketing from Canterbury Christ Church University, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. David also holds a CIMA qualification from CIMA, which was obtained in 2015.
