Melissa Lawford

Melissa Lawford currently serves as the US economics correspondent for The Telegraph, a position held since September 2019, after previously contributing as an economics reporter and property correspondent. Prior experience includes working as an editorial assistant at High Life, British Airways' inflight magazine, and as a freelance writer for the Financial Times. Additional roles include a house and home internship at the Financial Times, a press office internship at Bonhams, and a radio features internship at the BBC. Melissa Lawford holds an MA in Magazine Journalism from City St George’s, University of London, and has studied at The University of Edinburgh.
