Dan Keemahill is a seasoned data reporter currently working with the ProPublica/Texas Tribune Investigative Unit at The Texas Tribune since April 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a data journalist at USA TODAY, a news apps specialist at the Austin American-Statesman, and data journalist at American Public Media Group. Dan has also contributed to the Texas Tribune as a news apps developer and interned at The Wall Street Journal, where skills in interactive graphics were developed. Early career highlights include a student fellowship at the Knight News Innovation Lab, an embedded IT internship at The Washington Post, and web production internships at WGN-TV and KGO-810AM. Dan holds a degree from Northwestern University, earned between 2009 and 2013.
