Evan Lambert has an extensive work experience spanning across various sectors. Evan started their career in 2001 as a Peace Corps Volunteer before joining PwC as an IT Auditor in 2004. After that, they worked as a senior IT auditor at the Whole Planet Foundation. Evan then became the lead financial and monitoring analyst at the same organization, where they managed finance-related activities and designed monitoring and evaluation systems for international microfinance programs.
In 2010, Evan joined Asociacion Costa Rica Grameen as a member of the Board of Directors. Later, they joined the Whole Planet Foundation again, this time as the Director of the Latin America and Caribbean region, where they expanded the microfinance portfolio into every eligible country in the region. Evan also held the role of CFO at Pro Mujer, where they oversaw finance and accounting activities for a global organization with significant equity, employees, clients, and loan portfolio.
From 2014 to 2016, Evan owned and operated Lambert Consulting, providing financial expertise and management consulting services to startups in the Austin area. And from 2016 to 2019, they worked as the CFO for the United Way for Greater Austin. Currently, Evan holds the position of CFO at the Texas Tribune, starting in 2019.
