Liam Berryman

Liam Berryman is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Nelumbo, Inc., a position held since May 2016. Berryman is also a member of YPO since February 2020 and has served as a Thiel Fellow with The Thiel Foundation since June 2018. Previously, Berryman was a Board Member for the Entrepreneurship sector of the Younger Chemists Committee at the American Chemical Society from July 2015 to December 2017, contributing to networking and educational initiatives for undergraduates. Additionally, Berryman was a Board Member at Large for the American Chemical Society from November 2015 to November 2017, focusing on funding scholarships and promoting youth engagement. Berryman's early research experience includes roles as a researcher and lab manager at UC Berkeley's Design for Nanomanufacturing Lab, where innovative processes and team leadership were emphasized. Berryman's educational background includes studies at the University of California, Berkeley, supplementing coursework at Stanford University and graduating from Rock Canyon High School.
