Gregory M. Gonzalez

Gregory M. Gonzalez is an experienced agricultural professional currently serving as the Director of Agriculture at The Thornhill Companies since September 2024. Prior to this, Gregory held key positions at Coastal Vineyard Care Associates and Foley Family Farms, where responsibilities included managing vineyard operations and central coast farming. Gregory has a substantial history with Scheid Vineyards, working as the Director of Vineyard Operations and in various roles focused on vineyard management, including Ranch Supervisor and Vit-Team intern. Educational qualifications include a BA in Social and Behavioral Sciences with a focus on Geographic Information Systems from California State University, Monterey Bay, and an Associate of Science in Sports Medicine Athletic Training from Southwestern Oregon Community College, complemented by specialized training in irrigation from Cal Poly’s Irrigation Training and Research Center.
