Lafe Kunkel

Lafe Kunkel is an accomplished Environmental Project Manager at The Thrasher Group since November 2019 and has held various roles at CORE Environmental Services, Inc. since November 2012, including Morgantown Operations Manager and Senior Project Manager. Previous experience includes Project Manager positions at RECLAIM COMPANY LLC and Wallace & Pancher, Inc., as well as a research assistant role at West Virginia University, where comprehensive landscape analyses of surface coal mine permits were conducted. Kunkel holds a Master of Science in Resource Management and a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture, both from West Virginia University. Early career experiences include work as a Landscape Installer and Cabinet Maker, showcasing a diverse skill set across environmental management, design, and construction.
