Nicholas Watson

Nicholas Watson is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in public safety and investigative reporting. Currently serving as a Public Safety/Courts Reporter for The Times in Gainesville, GA since June 2014, Nicholas focuses on coverage related to law enforcement and the judicial system in Hall County. Previously, Nicholas held various positions at The Red & Black Newspaper, including Senior Reporter and Editor in Chief, where responsibilities encompassed cultivating story ideas, guiding the editorial voice, and overseeing the print production process. Additionally, Nicholas interned at The Post and Courier, covering local news and producing feature packages. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The University of Georgia, obtained in 2014.
