Adrian Martinez-De La Cruz is an experienced journalist currently serving as an Education Reporter at The Times of Northwest Indiana since June 2023. Previously, Adrian held various leadership roles at WONC 89.1 FM from May 2021 to May 2023, including Station Manager, News Director, Assistant Station Manager, and Social Media Director. Additionally, Adrian worked as an Editorial Intern at Patch.com during the summer of 2022 and served as a Resident Assistant at North Central College from August 2021 to May 2022. Early career experiences also include roles as a Housekeeper at Loews Hotels & Co and a Laundry Attendant at United Temps Inc. Adrian earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from North Central College in May 2023 and an Associate of Arts from Morton College in May 2020, having also attended Ball State University in 2018.
