Annabella Ortiz

Annabella Ortiz is an experienced journalist currently serving as a correspondent at The Times of Northwest Indiana since May 2014, where articles are written under the direction of the news editor. Previous roles at Ball State Daily News include Features Editor and Assistant Features Editor, overseeing a team of over 20 reporters and improving productivity through coaching. Additionally, Annabella held an editorial internship at The Times of Northwest Indiana, producing articles on various topics, and worked in several positions that involved client relations and content creation at Psychoeducational Diagnostics and Intervention Clinic and St. John Boarding and Grooming. Annabella began a career in journalism while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Telecommunications from Ball State University, which was completed in 2015.
